The lake of Lugano is one of the nicest places one can ever visit. Situated between Switzerland and Italy, it is surrounded by hills and mountains rich in vegetation and by nice and pretty villages which even today still preserve their old characteristics
From the sunny terrace of the House of Saint Bridget in Lugano one can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and of the surrounding mountains. It is possible to make nice walks, excursions on the lake and in the area. The House is equipped for retreats, prayer meetings, formation groups, hospitality to pilgrims and tourists and youth groups. The House has a chapel, a conference-room, a library and a garden. The services in the rooms include a bath or a shower, telephone and central heating. Board: Full-board, half-board or bed and breakfast. The House is open all the year round and is not equipped for disabled guests.
With Bus or tram – stops near the House. In just 5 minutes one can reach the train station or the city centre. On foot one needs 15 minutes.
